The gas diffusion layer is base layer (carbon paper) +microporous layer (carbon powder layer). All gas diffusion layers are hydrophobic

Our gas diffusion layer is specially designed for fuel cell development, and is very suitable for fuel cell field, such as proton exchange membrane fuel cell, direct methanol fuel cell, microbial fuel cell, (aluminum, zinc) air battery.

Gas diffusion layer plays a major role in supporting catalytic layer, collecting current, conducting gas and discharging water in fuel cells.

The main function of the base layer is to support the micro-porous layer and the catalytic layer; the main function of the micro-porous layer is to reduce the contact resistance between the catalytic layer and the base layer, to redistribute gas and water, to prevent the leakage of the catalytic layer of the electrode, and to prevent the leakage of the catalytic layer to the base layer in the preparation process.
